CI follow-up: blocked by a pre-existing classification defect and frozen scope¶
Task: d5f04d8e-81cc-4f93-8885-82b8429b4bfa, frozen version 9.
Execution: 391e513f-657a-4c91-abd6-dd012180eee0, 2026-10-12.
Repository: h8v6/heyaira; branch: heyaira/d5f04d8e.
Source: 2f7eaf98fe3dedbefaba6e5b6ed5898f83c26923.
Starting carried candidate: 27a88ba6af702909284d0d0b644a7e612aa81850.
Result SHA is recorded in RESULT/receipt. This continuation adds evidence only;
it does not repair the CI failure or change the accepted implementation.
Lead model: gpt-6.1-sol; subagents: none.
The assigned worktree started clean at the exact carried candidate, with origin
[email protected]:h8v6/heyaira.git. Its parent is the source commit. No existing
commit was amended, rebased or reset. Commands ran in this worktree unless the
source snapshot is named. PostgreSQL was the prepared Unix-socket test service;
the harness created and dropped only randomly named disposable databases.
No credential values, database URLs or production data are recorded here.
CI access limitation¶
Requested failed run: https://github.com/h8v6/heyaira/actions/runs/38211743828.
gh run view 38211743828 --repo h8v6/heyaira --json conclusion,headSha,jobs,url
gh run view 38211743828 --repo h8v6/heyaira --log-failed
Both exit 1: failed to read configuration: open
/Users/jablonskib/.config/gh/config.yml: operation not permitted.
Anonymous requests to the GitHub API and run page also fail: HTTP 403 / curl
CONNECT tunnel failed, response 403; no run page was retrieved. These are
execution limitations, not candidate defects. No permission bypass or other
credential was attempted. Memory search for the run ID returned no entries;
task_get v9 returned no CI log detail. The exact failures of the remote run
therefore remain unverified. A sanitized error excerpt was requested while
independent local diagnostics continued; none was available for this result.
Reproduced local failure¶
The broader CI-style diagnostic kept the frozen schema-guard exclusion:
TMPDIR="$PWD/.task-tmp" python scripts/test_postgres.py --ignore=tests/test_schema_guard.py --ignore=tests/test_ios_companion_contract.py --deselect=tests/test_workflow_e2e.py::test_workflow_indexed_list_performance_synthetic_tasks -x -p no:cacheprovider
Actual result: exit 1, 1 failed, 188 passed, 11 skipped, 3 deselected in 76.41s.
The skips explicitly report sandbox-denied listening sockets. This diagnostic
is not zero-skipped CI acceptance and stopped at the first failure.
Failure: tests/test_backup_state_marker.py::test_every_table_is_classified:
AssertionError: ('unclassified tables', {'bridge_request_failures'},
'missing tables', frozenset())
Focused reproduction on the carried candidate:
TMPDIR="$PWD/.task-tmp" python scripts/test_postgres.py tests/test_backup_state_marker.py::test_every_table_is_classified -p no:cacheprovider
Actual result: exit 1, 1 failed in 1.25s, same unclassified-table assertion.
The failure also predates the response-path fix. A source snapshot, without rewriting branch history, reproduced it alongside the frozen T1 regression:
mkdir -p .task-tmp/base
DEVELOPER_DIR=/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools git archive 2f7eaf98 src migrations tests scripts pyproject.toml | tar -x -C .task-tmp/base
cp tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py .task-tmp/base/tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py
TMPDIR="$PWD/.task-tmp" python .task-tmp/base/scripts/test_postgres.py tests/test_backup_state_marker.py::test_every_table_is_classified tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py::test_asgi_call_finishes_before_delayed_cancellation_cleanup -s -p no:cacheprovider
Actual result: exit 1, 2 failed in 6.29s:
- The backup classification test reports the same unclassified table on source.
- T1 reports
response_emission_seconds=0.001 asgi_completion_seconds=3.004, unchanged 401/body, and failselapsed <= 0.5at3.0042191249958705.
Why there is no code correction in this continuation¶
The classification guard requires every table to be classified. Runtime backup
marker exclusions live in src/heyaira/backup.py, outside frozen K5's allowed
source paths. Its existing policy excludes rejected-write audit bookkeeping
from triggering backups. Failed-request metadata is also request bookkeeping;
a production exclusion would need a separately scoped backup-policy change
and coverage that failure recording/retention do not move the marker. Merely
adding the table to the test's user-data list would label bookkeeping as user
state without implementing that exclusion; the guard was not weakened.
Static inspection also found local migration numbers 059 and 060 absent before
061. The workflow runs the whole suite, but task v9 explicitly excludes
tests/test_schema_guard.py and reserves contiguous numbering for the
coordinator after integration with main/PR #226. No schema-guard test ran and
no forbidden migration/history change was made. This is not proof of which
checks failed in the inaccessible remote run.
what: CI repair cannot be completed within frozen v9: a backup classification
failure is reproduced on both source and candidate; production backup
exclusions are outside K5 scope. Remote CI logs are also unavailable.
who_moves: coordinator, with the Bridge environment operator for log access
needed: a frozen assignment permitting the backup-policy correction and its
regressions, plus the failed-run excerpt; coordinator-owned migration
integration must resolve the known numbering gap separately
Frozen criterion checks¶
These assess unchanged K1-K5, not the new CI-repair goal. They all pass, while the CI correction remains blocked as described above.
TMPDIR="$PWD/.task-tmp" python scripts/test_postgres.py tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py -s -p no:cacheprovider
Actual result: exit 0, 5 passed in 12.95s, zero skipped tests. Output:
response_emission_seconds=0.000 asgi_completion_seconds=0.001
admitted=32 dropped=8 responses_unchanged=40 recovery_admitted=1
shutdown_drain_seconds=2.002 close_after_cancel=True admission_closed=True
postgres_acceptance=passed: selected tests, zero skipped tests
criterion_id: K1 outcome: pass evidence_path: docs/reports/d5f04d8e-ci-followup-evidence.md feedback: Source T1 fails at 3.004 s; carried implementation passes at 0.001 s with unchanged status/body. This continuation changes documentation only.
criterion_id: K2 outcome: pass evidence_path: tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py feedback: Targeted command exits 0; exactly 32 admitted, 8 dropped, all 40 responses unchanged/timely, real pool/slot recovery and next durable record asserted.
criterion_id: K3 outcome: pass evidence_path: tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py feedback: Targeted command exits 0; admission stops, configured two-second drain precedes pool.close, measured at 2.002 s.
TMPDIR="$PWD/.task-tmp" python scripts/test_postgres.py tests/test_bridge_request_failures.py tests/test_bridge_pickup.py tests/test_server_beat.py tests/test_server_beat_timing.py tests/test_bridge_failure_background.py -p no:cacheprovider
Actual result: exit 0, 46 passed in 48.53s;
postgres_acceptance=passed: selected tests, zero skipped tests.
criterion_id: K4 outcome: pass evidence_path: docs/reports/d5f04d8e-ci-followup-evidence.md feedback: Frozen required selection exits 0 with 46 passed and zero skips. Broader CI diagnostics fail separately as recorded above; CI repair is not complete.
criterion_id: K5 outcome: pass evidence_path: docs/reports/d5f04d8e-ci-followup-evidence.md feedback: This continuation stages only this docs evidence file on top of the carried candidate. Source/candidate ancestry, allowed cumulative paths, byte-identical migration rename and clean tree are rechecked on the result commit and recorded in RESULT.
Additional CI checks completed successfully:
PYTHONPATH=src python scripts/export_mcp_contract.py --check (contract current),
python scripts/check_docs_contract.py (47 tools covered),
python scripts/check_product_name.py (passed), and
python scripts/validate_runtime.py (runtime_validation=passed).
git diff --check exits 0. A source-to-renamed migration byte comparison prints
migration_content_unchanged True. The rename applies to fresh databases only.
Unverified work and next actor¶
The remote run's complete failure list, remaining broader-suite tests after
-x, schema guard, hosted-only checks, Node checks and documentation build were
not executed or established by this continuation. No CI success or production
verification is claimed. Scratch source snapshots are removed before commit.
No installation, push, PR, merge, deploy, production mutation, task status or
acceptance change occurred. Coordinator must resolve the scope/integration
blocker before the local backup classification test and full CI can be rerun.
